Who we are

Local Leads Co. builds websites and provides digital marketing for small businesses, and is based in Waterford, Ireland. We are the data controller for personal information collected through localleadscoagency.com. You can contact us at localleadscoireland@gmail.com or on +353 87 174 1010.

What information we collect

• Website quote requests and messages (our quote and contact form): your name, email address and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, business name, business type, town or county, the package you’re interested in, whether you have a domain name, and your message.
• Quote pop-up: your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, your business name.
• Free marketing audit requests: your name, email address and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, business name, website, location, business type, current marketing, main goal and approximate advertising budget.
• Cookies: small files that remember your cookie choices and, only if you agree, measure how the website is used. See the cookies section below.

We do not ask for any sensitive information, and you never need to share passwords with us for a quote or an audit.

How we use your information

• To prepare your website quote or free marketing audit and contact you about it.
• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call if you ask for one.
• To build your website or provide our services, if you go ahead.
• To understand how visitors use our website, only if you accept analytics cookies.

We will never sell your information or add you to a marketing mailing list without your permission.

Our legal basis

We rely on your consent (the tick box on our forms and your cookie choice) and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you. We rely on our legitimate interests to keep the website secure and working properly, and to keep a record of enquiries so none are lost. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

How your form details are handled

When you submit a form, your details are sent by email to our business inbox. A copy is also stored in our website’s private admin area, so that no enquiry is lost if an email fails. Only Local Leads Co. can access it.

Who we share information with

We only use trusted service providers who process information on our behalf:

• Hostinger, which hosts our website.
• Google, which provides our business email (Gmail) and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics.

Some of these providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, it is protected by safeguards approved under EU law, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep quote, enquiry and audit details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep the information we need to provide our services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.

Cookies

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or customise cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom left of the screen.

• cookieyes-consent (necessary): remembers your cookie choices. Kept for up to 1 year.
• pum-81 (necessary): remembers that you closed or completed our quote pop-up, so it does not keep appearing. Kept for 30 days after closing, or 1 year after you submit it.
• _ga and _ga_* (analytics, only if you accept): Google Analytics cookies that count visits and show how the website is used. Kept for up to 2 years.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent. Email localleadscoireland@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Keeping your information safe

Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and access to the information you send us is limited to Local Leads Co.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
